To access our interactive puzzles, go to ajc.com/epaper and click/tap on Puzzles in the top navigation bar.

Scroll down to access the LA Times crossword puzzles and word jumbles.  

Directions for interacting with the LA Times puzzle follow.

Click/tap on the desired square.  The clue will appear directly above the puzzle as well as in the across/down list on the right, and the highlighted color will show which direction the clue applies to.  Type your answer into the squares and then select the next square.  To change answer, type over the original response.  Use your spacebar, backspace, or delete key to clear a square.

The navigation bar at the top will help you set preferences, validate your answers, or obtain help.

Tells you who created this particular puzzle

Toggles the color of the letters to allow you to distinguish between guesses and answers that you are positive about.

                                                                                           

Reveals a square, word, or the entire puzzle

Allows you to verify whether a square, word, or the entire puzzle is correct

Allows you to change specific options for interacting with the puzzle

  Allows you to select a different puzzle date

Resets the entire game to start over

Allows you to print the puzzle

The left and right arrows allow you to go to the previous or next puzzle
